At TiraTech, we are committed to providing you with high-quality, high-performance hardware, laptops, printers, and accessories. Below is everything you need to know about your products’ warranty coverage and the procedures for making a claim.
1. Standard Manufacturer Warranty
All brand-new products sold on tiratech.com.my are 100% genuine and come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty.
- Laptops & Printers: Typically covered by a 1-year to 3-year local manufacturer warranty, depending on the brand and model.
- PC Components & Hardware: Warranty periods vary by part (e.g., graphics cards, motherboards, storage drives) and are dictated by the respective manufacturers.
- Consumables: Items such as printer ink, toner cartridges, and 3D printing filaments generally do not carry a warranty once opened, unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer.
2. How to Make a Warranty Claim
Please note that all warranty claims, repairs, and technical evaluations must be handled directly by the product’s official manufacturer or authorized distributor.
TiraTech does not process direct returns, one-to-one exchanges, or handle in-house warranty claims. To ensure the fastest resolution for any hardware faults or defects:
- Locate the Authorized Service Center: Find the nearest official service center in Malaysia for your product’s specific brand (e.g., HP, ASUS, Lenovo, etc.).
- Prepare Your Documents: You must present your original TiraTech purchase receipt/invoice as your official proof of purchase to validate the warranty.
- Contact the Manufacturer: We recommend calling the service center ahead of time to confirm their operating hours and any specific procedures they require for dropping off your device.
3. What is NOT Covered by Warranty (Exclusions)
To ensure a smooth process with the manufacturer, please be aware that standard warranties typically do not cover the following:
- Physical Damage: Drops, dents, bent pins on motherboards, or cracked screens.
- Liquid Damage: Spills, moisture exposure, or submersion.
- Unauthorized Modification: Opening the device, breaking warranty seals, or repairs done by unauthorized third-party technicians.
- Improper Usage: Damage caused by overclocking, power surges, or using the hardware for purposes outside of its intended design.
- Software Issues: Operating system crashes, virus infections, or third-party software conflicts.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Degradation of laptop batteries over time or cosmetic fading.
4. Need Assistance?
If you need help locating the nearest authorized service center for your specific brand or need a copy of your invoice, our support team is available around the clock.
Please retain your original TiraTech invoice and the product’s original packaging for the duration of the warranty period, as the manufacturer will require them for all claims.
